I'm awfully sorry --- again --- I have been HORRIBLE about posting for the past weeks....
So here I am to tell you about the easy way to cancel out the plainness of solid colors: just by adding tribal, animal, retro, floral prints, etc. Here are some examples straight from the closet of yours truly.
Here's a simple dark aqua top with a collar
ending in a bow. A pair of leopard-print
leggings bursting in color is what
made the outfit complete.
Matching accessories: a peach stone ring, and
a studded gold bracelet
This black and white striped button-down
goes well with this cheetah/leopard/zebra
print scarf; and the pink adds color.
Matching accessories: a frilly ring with a
rhinestoned center, black beadie bracelets
When you look at this cheetah-crazy
outfit, you might think the two different
shades of brown layers with the scarf
and this fuzzy vest is just way too much,
but when you take a look at the accessories,
you are relieved when you see all there is
is a pair of aviators. Therefore, the outfit actually
turns into a *pretty good-lookin'* piece of art.
This is one of my favorites! This is a
strapless retro high-low dress ---
it's not a skirt by the way....
Matching accessories: A blingy scarf and an elegant
black ring finish up this eye-catching effect
This boring old red dress would look
great with lavender jeans *which I
don't have if you haven't noticed*
but the colorful floral scarf is what ties
it all together.
Matching accessories: a tan leather belt, this red
plastic rose ring, and red sunglasses (that you're
probably getting sick of seeing so much :D)
Here is an oatmeal long-sleeves, a
black cable-knit shrug, and an
oatmeal, black, and lavender-ish
shiny leopard/cheetah/zebra scarf.
This outfit is more on the casual side, so
in order to make it a tiny bit more formal
a black belt can be added.
This feathery red, peach, and black
scarf stands out on a plain black dress....
Matching accessories: a thin red leather belt,
the red rose ring *which you most likely hate now*,
and aviators.
In this outfit there is a crisp button down
blouse, and an absolutely adorable
blue, orange, tan, brown, black, and white
tribal print scarf
Matching accessories: thin braided belt,
orange sunglasses, and a zigzag bending knuckle ring
This floral scarf pairs nicely with this
mustard yellow top with a lace neck
and a scrunched elastic waist.
A necklace can't really go on top of the lace
on the neck of the top, so a gold rose ring can
keep the outfit simple, but fashionable.
My loyal mannequin is wearing a black
dress with a black lace shrug and one of my
favorite scarves: it's light and dark
brown with lime green and turquoise
peacock feathers.
Matching accessories: blue stone bracelets, a blue
stone necklace, and a simple silver ring
Well, that's all I have for today.... I hope today's post wasn't too long to bore anyone :)

I love all the accessories they go perfectly with each outfit.
