Tribal Print Maxi Dress

This year's summer style has been the boho-chic look, and many of the fashionistas have been trending in tribals, feathers, leather, stones, antique and burnished metals, crochet, and more. Get your boho look by going all out in tribal maxi dresses! Wearing these gives you an elegant and stylish touch to your typical every-day look! Here are some personal favorites fresh from the bohemian portion of my wardrobe.
This black and white tribal
 print maxi can be sophisticated
with hues of tan and gold,

and the nice pop of a red statement
bag completes the dash of color
needed against the black and white.

It can be accessorized with
stack bracelets, some more gold,
and those fun little dashes of red.

Now this maxi is more of a dive into
the boho style. The variety of
patterns and colors is exactly
what you would want to get the
look, and the royal blue of the
scarf slightly calms down the
frenzy of the dress.

Due to the vivid core of the outfit,
the rest of it should be subtly
accessorized; with wooden beads
and a bit of gleam.

This last one is leaning more
 towards a graceful
category of the tribals. What
mainly gives it the majestic
look is the blue in the
dress and hints of silver
 in the accessories.

The necklace and wrap watch
are essential to give the outfit
the desired bling, the bracelet's
beads are just a bunch of extra shapes,
the simple black leather strap is
one of the delicate pieces to prevent
excess shine, as well as a gentle midi
ring which is set with tiny blue stones.
Of course the orange sunglasses are
needed to brighten the rest of
the outfit...

That's all for today! I'm glad to have some feedback! The main reason for this post is because one of your fellow blog readers had requested to include some more information about tribal prints. I hope to hear more from you all!

OOTD #1: Nude Colors with a Subtle Turquoise

Hellooo my Stylishious readers!
So today is the first Outfit of the Day! I think that now since I am giving my blog daily posts, I will be alternating between a theme one day and an OOTD the next.... What are your thoughts and opinions? If you have anything specific that you would like me to post, or discuss, just email me or leave a comment below! Anyways... let's get back to today's outfit!

I absolutely love this wonderful
ensemble, it has such a soothing
color combination to look at.
I adore how the scarf has that
 nudeish peachish color which
is paired with a soft tone of
turquoise. In addition, the cream
and white just make it fall into
the definition of perfect.

The key to giving an outfit like this the desired look is actually quite simple. So the garment with the pattern is going to be the core of the whole thing, because it is what the eye is naturally drawn to. To keep it that way, the rest of the articles should be on the same color palette, otherwise thrusting in a seperate color could potentially offset the entire setup... ouch.... :/

Here are some matching
accessories...

 There are hardly many
times where an outfit
should be perfectly coordinated,
but to be honest, the only
other color that I can think
of is a vibrant shade of jade ....
Otherwise I don't think any
other color besides the four
on the scarf would make do....

And last, but not least,
 is an iconic statement
 bag --- like this matching
 satchel --- is needed to
make the outfit complete!
Well, that's it for today, fashion friends! I hope to hear from you all soon!

The Muscle Tee

So... this just sounds like a pathetic thing to say, but I'll say it anyways. Muscle tees are fun okay?!? They're just like any normal t-shirt except with the sleeves all ratty-tatty and huge :D Here are a couple of my own images of how I would dress up a muscle tee.

A Batman tee like this
one --- or any superhero
tee actually ---
would go  nicely with
colored jeans that
compliment the colors
of the sign on the shirt,

as well as a matching
 *designer* handbag :D

A tribal printed tee
can be put together
with a printed scarf
of the same pattern
but with more of a
 variety of colors, like
 this plain black and
white one.

Some arm and hand candy
 is just unavoidable....
A matching pair of sunnies,
 a strappy wrap watch,
a stretchy pyramid stud
bracelet, and some stack
 rings are the essentials
 to bling up ANY outfit!

Crop Top on a Skirt

Crop tops are THE summer necessity! Not only are they totally in style, but they are lightweight, airy, and look adorable on a skirt. Majority of my crop tops are printed or graphic, so today's post has a bunch of them, and I've arranged them all on a solid black skirt.... Let's take a look!

Here is the trending
"infinite love"symbol...

This cropped graphic
tee can be paired with
almost anything!

A chevron stripe cropped
sweater has a nice
calming touch to it.

This floral crop top
is flowy, elegant, and
simply appealing to
the eye ;)

And last here is one of
my favorites! Diamond
Supply Co. just gives
off the vibe that you're
AWESOME.

a bit of shine can be
added as well...

...and so can a
diamond on
top :D

Get the Louis V. Look!

Everyone knows Louis Vuitton is famous for their signature checkerboard pattern. During the springtime this year, they have released a newer collection. You might have seen the black and white, tan and white, yellow and white, green and white, etc. styles everywhere: from fashion magazines to red carpet celebs.

For a fact, I know that this pattern will NOT be going out of style anytime soon, so have fun with it! Here are a few ways to slide in with the current LV style:

  • Spice up a studded top with the classic black and white checkerboard:
  •

    Here are some corresponding
     accessories...

    ...and we can't forget that
    pair of LV sunglasses :D

  • Match a neon checkerboard scarf with a color-juicy outfit:
  •

Here are some sweet charms
to go with it...

  • Be the spotlight of the party in an LV-like dress:
  •

  • And of course, one of their unique handbags will add the pop of print needed to compliment and complete any basic outfit :)

Fab Favs from F21

Hey, guys!

So I've been putting together a bunch of my favorite fashion pieces into collages. But here's the coolest part: EVERYTHING featured in these pictures are from Forever 21! (Well, everything except for the colorblocked bangles in the first picture and the orange-creamsicle-colored flower ring in the fifth picture...)  So if anything catches your eye, you should TOTALLY get it!

This highlow dress is just so graceful, it goes well with
leather tights, suede booties, and colorblocked bangles
to add a slight amount of bling.

There's only one word to describe this outfit.
Swag. Here's a pointed hem blazer, a stupendous
button-down shirt, a leather miniskirt, leather
heeled ankle boots, and an over sized leather
tote bag.

OK, this outfit is simply fabulous, I must admit ;)
Winter calls for warm wear, and this adorable sweater dress
is COMPLETELY appropriate for the season. It goes
awesomelywith simple black leggings, a maroon
leather jacket, a duo-tone bib necklace, a sweet
golden bow belt, and gold and black wedges.

Goodness gracious, this is super spectacular as well,
the entire outfit that is with the printed highlow
can be accessorized with a bright red belt, a corresponding
handbag, and a cute lacquered metal bracelet. OTK socks
make the outfit really fun, and the whole put-together
can be topped off with cool hat.

This elegant outfit consists of a simple blush-colored
highlow skirt, a patterned top, a subtly gold bow belt, a gold
cuff, an orange-creamsicle-colored floral ring, and stacked
heel lace-up boots.

This is such a laid-back and old school outfit.... It's made
up of a simple collared dress with nicely matching
embroidered leggings. Its accessories are: a rhinestone
bib necklace (worn under the collar---OBVIOUSLY), a ditsy
heart ring, ankle boots, and a fedora....

Pretty in Prints

Hey everyone,

I'm awfully sorry --- again --- I have been HORRIBLE about posting for the past weeks....
So here I am to tell you about the easy way to cancel out the plainness of solid colors: just by adding tribal, animal, retro, floral prints, etc.  Here are some examples straight from the closet of yours truly.

Here's a simple dark aqua top with a collar
ending in a bow. A pair of leopard-print
leggings bursting in color is what
made the outfit complete.

Matching accessories: a peach stone ring, and
a studded gold bracelet

This black and white striped button-down
goes well with this cheetah/leopard/zebra
print scarf; and the pink adds color.

Matching accessories: a frilly ring with a
rhinestoned center, black beadie bracelets

When you look at this cheetah-crazy
outfit, you might think the two different
shades of brown layers with the scarf
and this fuzzy vest is just way too much,

but when you take a look at the accessories,
you are relieved when you see all there is
is a pair of aviators. Therefore, the outfit actually
turns into a *pretty good-lookin'* piece of art.

This is one of my favorites! This is a
strapless retro high-low dress ---
it's not a skirt by the way....

Matching accessories: A blingy scarf and an elegant
black ring finish up this eye-catching effect

This boring old red dress would look
great with lavender jeans *which I
don't have if you haven't noticed*
but the colorful floral scarf is what ties
it all together.

Matching accessories: a tan leather belt, this red
plastic rose ring, and red sunglasses (that you're
probably getting sick of seeing so much :D)

Here is an oatmeal long-sleeves, a
black cable-knit shrug, and an
oatmeal, black, and lavender-ish
shiny leopard/cheetah/zebra scarf.

This outfit is more on the casual side, so
in order to make it a tiny bit more formal
a black belt can be added.

This feathery red, peach, and black
scarf stands out on a plain black dress....

Matching accessories: a thin red leather belt,
the red rose ring *which you most likely hate now*,
and aviators.

In this outfit there is a crisp button down
blouse, and an absolutely adorable
blue, orange, tan, brown, black, and white
tribal print scarf

Matching accessories: thin braided belt,
orange sunglasses, and a zigzag bending knuckle ring

This floral scarf pairs nicely with this
mustard yellow top with a lace neck
and a scrunched elastic waist.

A necklace can't really go on top of the lace
on the neck of the top, so a gold rose ring can
keep the outfit simple, but fashionable.

My loyal mannequin is wearing a black
dress with a black lace shrug and one of my
favorite scarves: it's light and dark
brown with lime green and turquoise
peacock feathers.

Matching accessories: blue stone bracelets, a blue
stone necklace, and a simple silver ring

Well, that's all I have for today.... I hope today's post wasn't too long to bore anyone :)
